Dinner Meeting, June 4, 2024

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Our speaker will be Thomas Wood, Collection Development Librarian, Fresno County Public Library. His topic will be, “Fresno Co. Libraries 2024, Not Your 1970’s Library! Including How Librarians Select & Remove Materials”

Thomas is a Librarian with the Fresno County Public Library. After starting with FCPL in 2011, Thomas served in a variety of roles before joining the Library’s Collection Development department in 2015. Thomas’s duties include the selection of new print and digital books for the Library’s collection, and he is passionate about connecting Fresno County residents from all walks of life with the information they need. In his free time, Thomas enjoys reading, podcasts, and the NBA.
